About Best Western Plus Hotels Government Camp

The Best Western Hotel near Mt. Hood at Government Camp, Oregon, USA ...

Best Western Plus founded by M.K. Guertin started in 1946 and began as an informal channel between the properties and the guests or travelers. Guertin with over 23 years of experience in the lodging and accommodation business started this guest referral system mainly through phone calls from his office to the that of the property. By 1962, Best Western Plus became the first ever hotel reservation covering the entire United States.

A year after, the Best Western Plus became the largest motel industry in the nation with 699 properties and 35,201 rooms under its management. Membership loyalty programs became a thing during the late 1980s for most hotels operating in the Americas. Best Western Plus launched its Gold Crown Club International Program and acquired 200,000 members the same year and with sales of more than $40 million.

Best Western Plus continued its expansion and reaches places like Greece, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. BY 2015, a new master band logo was introduced, giving it a more modern and polished look, intended for the upper midscale market. At present, there are over 4500 privately owned hotels in 100 countries and territories working under the Best Western Plus brand.

Room blinds were stuck halfway down. When reported that to staff they said that all the blinds in the hotel are broken and cannot be fixed. They manually lowered the blinds but no light in room after. This was quite unacceptable! Paying $250+ per night and cant even get basic things in the room to work! The service staff also do not deliver towels, soaps etc to the room. Had to physically go down to the front desk and haul over these items

About Best Western Premier Collection Hotels Government Camp

Best Western Premier Collection part of the three-tiered system of Best Western International, Inc., a big influencer in the hotel industry. The BW Premier Collections identity was reborn in 2011, 65 years after the establishment of its marketing cooperative. This sub-series of hotels doesnt fall far from the tree. Like its label suggests, the Best Western brand offers premier world-class services and amenities to its guest. The Best Western brand has a reputation for being attentive to detail, after all.

Best Westerns brands prominence in the global market has turned its name as a common noun for hotels in many countries. As early as 1964, Canada was already involved in the BWs team. Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand followed in 1976. In 2002, Best Western Premier was just a sub-name for the cooperatives expansion in Europe. That extension was obviously a success as the BWs unparalleled hospitality earned them $6-billion annual revenue in 2012. That proof of the effectiveness of the three tier system brought the Best Western Premier Collection forward as its own line like a successor making its own name. The contribution of this sub-brand still shows in the remarkable and consistent performance of the Best Western International.
