Our Shared Principles And Commitments

United Nations Plan One World Government by 2030

10. The new Agenda is guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, including full respect for international law. It is grounded in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, international human rights treaties, the Millennium Declaration and the 2005 World Summit Outcome Document. It is informed by other instruments such as the Declaration on the Right to Development.

11. We reaffirm the outcomes of all major UN conferences and summits which have laid a solid foundation for sustainable development and have helped to shape the new Agenda. These include the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development the World Summit on Sustainable Development the World Summit for Social Development the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development, the Beijing Platform for Action and the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development . We also reaffirm the follow-up to these conferences, including the outcomes of the Fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, the Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States the Second United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction.

12. We reaffirm all the principles of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, including, inter alia, the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities, as set out in principle 7 thereof.

The United Nations Wants A One

How would Prof. Price’s vision of a new world government emerge? Although there was a socialistic thread in its founding document, the United Nations was formed based on a vision of human rights presented in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which placed the concept of rights at the forefront for the progress of the world body. And rights are the mainstay for uplifting human freedom and the dignity of the individual. The UDHR document followed many amazing documents that presented rights as the central concept of the post-feudal world: the English Declaration of Rights of 1689, the U.S. Declaration of Independence with its important and forceful assertion of inalienable natural rights, the powerful U.S. Bill of Rights enacted in 1791, and the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen .

The entire Transforming Our World document is cast in a stream of consciousness of pious platitudes for a utopian future. It is an outsize utopian dream. Five of the 17 items pertain to the environment. There are goals for the cities, for women, for the poor, and even for life under the water. Absolutely no sphere of human activity is exempt from control by the UN. The key word of course is no longer rights except the oblique reference in Article 19. In fact, this writer did not see the word rights even once in this document even though that word appeared in practically every sentence of the original UN document.

Fact Check: Is The Un Promoting A New World Order

As the founding editor, Bharat had been heading the newsroom during the formation years of the organization and worked towards editorial policies, conceptualizing and designing campaign strategies and collaborations. He believes that through the use of digital media, one could engage the millennial’s in rational conversations about pertinent social issues, provoking them to think and bring a behavioral change accordingly.

The Un The World Needs

Mounting pressure on the UNs central pillarscollective security and the commitment to human rights and the rule of lawmay spell the organizations steepened and perhaps irreversible decline. Some analysts argue that the ship can be righted by casting the UNs normative infrastructure overboard, a weight too heavy to bear given the geopolitical shoals that must be navigated now. They believe that, given Chinas rise, a global order that sidelines universal rights in favor of sovereignty and value-neutral cooperation can achieve collective security. The premise is that forfeiting the facets of the UN that most rankle Chinahuman rights resolutions, the protection of minorities, and the likewould unleash consensus on a breadth of global issues such as climate change and global health, in effect saving the global forum.

The quest to revitalize the United Nations should proceed on multiple, parallel tracks. There is no magic bullet that will transform todays global governance system into a potent, fit-for-purpose successor. That will depend on boosting the stakeholders buy-in, building on strengths, confronting weaknesses, and staying the course over time.

Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development

Resource date: Sep 2015

On 25 September, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted the Resolution 70/1, Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This historic document lays out the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to mobilize global efforts to end poverty, foster peace, safeguard the rights and dignity of all people, and protect the planet.

The resolution begins with a declaration that states:

“On behalf of the peoples we serve, we have adopted a historic decision on a comprehensive, far-reaching and people-centred set of universal and transformative Goals and targets. We commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030. We recognize that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. We are committed to achieving sustainable development in its three dimensions economic, social and environmental in a balanced and integrated manner. We will also build upon the achievements of the Millennium Development Goals and seek to address their unfinished business.

Commonwealth Of Independent States And The Eurasian Economic Union

The Commonwealth of Independent States is comparable to a confederation similar to the original European Union. Although the CIS has few supranational powers, it is more than a purely symbolic organisation, possessing coordinating powers in the realm of trade, finance, lawmaking, and security. It has also promoted cooperation on democratization and cross-border crime prevention. As a regional organization, CIS participates in UN peacekeeping forces.

The Arab League is a regional organization of Arab states in Southwest Asia, and North and Northeast Africa. It was formed in Cairo on March 22, 1945, with six members: Egypt, Iraq, Transjordan , Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Yemen joined as a member on May 5, 1945. The Arab League currently has 22 members, which also include, Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates. It has also been proposed to reform the Arab League into an Arab Union.

Is The United Nations Planning To Institute A ‘new World Order’ By 2030

There is no evidence that the U.N. will establish “one world government” along with associated implications, such as a single military and currency.

Daniela Gross, a spokesperson for the U.N. Secretary-General, told USA TODAY in an email that the claim is entirely fabricated.

“No, this is false. This is not a genuine UN document,” Gross wrote.

The author of a 2014 report on Agenda 21 conspiracy theories, Heidi Beirichm, told AFP Australia in June that the “new world order” claim is a far-right hoax.

“That post is filled with all the bogus claims the far right has made against for a long time now, Beirich, a co-founder of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism, said.

Moreover, Agenda 21 and the 2030 Agenda are not legally binding. The latter is subject to each country’s commitment. A frequently asked questions page states that “implementation and success will rely on countries own sustainable development policies, plans and programmes.”

Similarly, Beirich described Agenda 21 as a “perfectly sensible planning paper, a nonbinding statement of intent aimed at dealing with sustainability on an increasingly crowded planet,” in her 2014 conspiracy theory report for the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Claim: The United Nations Will Establish A ‘new World Order’ Under Its Agenda 21/2030 Mission Goals

New World Order One World Government United Nations Global Takeover

Is a “new world order” part of the UN’s plan? There is evidence that the claim has circulated on social media for years, but a May repost by Facebook user Vernon Adkinson recently went viral.

Over 20 goals comprise the “new world order” the United Nations will focus on as part of its “Agenda 21/2030 Mission Goals,” according to the claim. Items on the agenda include one world government a single cashless currency government-owned and controlled schools, colleges and universities and an end to single-family homes.

“THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY,” Adkinson insisted in the caption. “If you dont believe it, a simple google search will take you to the U.N. website where you can access the document and read it for yourself. It is amazing how well the Covid 19 plandemic ties in with Agenda 21/2030.”

Adkinson did not respond to a request for comment from USA TODAY.

And The Nazis Join In

Conspiracy theories about the Agenda 21 sustainability plan come principally from propagandists of the antigovernment and property rights movements. But neo-Nazis, never content to let a good plot theory lie idle, have joined in, too.

Consider James Wickstrom, who in other contexts has said that he would like to murder Jews by beating them and throwing them into wood-chipping machines. He dedicated an hour of online video to vilifying the Jewish internationalists he sees lurking behind the non-binding United Nations plan adopted in 1992.

Agenda 21 is very evil, says Wickstrom, a key proponent of the anti-Semitic theology of Christian Identity. Its extremely evil because it comes from the dark side. You see, the light side is Yahweh the Christ, which is truth, always truth. Then you have the dark side, which is Jewish international communism.

The people behind RealJewNews, an outlet dedicated to attacking Jews, see it the same way. To them, President Obama and his allies, working to promote Agenda 21, are now in the final stage of implementing the Jewification of America.

Anti-Semitism is basically a conspiracy theory, says the American Jewish Committees Ken Stern in explaining how Agenda 21 is seen by neo-Nazis as a direct descendant of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which purportedly reveals a secret Jewish plot to take over the world. Its Jews conspiring to harm non-Jews, and that conspiracy explains a lot of what goes wrong with the world.

What Is Global Governance

Global governance brings together diverse actors to coordinate collective action at the level of the planet. The goal of global governance, roughly defined, is to provide global public goods, particularly peace and security, justice and mediation systems for conflict, functioning markets and unified standards for trade and industry. One crucial global public good is catastrophic risk management putting appropriate mechanisms in place to maximally reduce the likelihood and impact of any event that could cause the death of 10 per cent of humanity across the planet, or damage of equivalent magnitude. See here for a list of global catastrophic risks.

The leading institution in charge of global governance today is the United Nations. It was founded in 1945, in the wake of the Second World War, as a way to prevent future conflicts on that scale. The United Nations does not directly bring together the people of the world, but sovereign nation states, and currently counts 193 members who make recommendations through the UN General Assembly. The UNs main mandate is to preserve global security, which it does particularly through the Security Council. In addition the UN can settle international legal issues through the International Court of Justice, and implements its key decisions through the Secretariat, led by the Secretary General.

Ancient Prophecies Of Our Time

Your Bible does describe an end-time world power with feet of clay! The prophet Daniel describes symbolically four world-ruling empires ending with the final revived Roman Empire. God had given Nebuchadnezzar, the king of ancient Babylon, a dream of successive global kingdoms. The Jewish prophet Daniel was called before the king to interpret the dream, and we read of his description of the image in Daniel 2:3134:

You, O king, were watching and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you and its form was awesome. This images head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.

What empires or kingdoms did this image symbolize? Most reputable Bible scholars agree on their identity.

Daniel told the king that the head of gold represented Nebuchadnezzar himself and his empire of Babylon. This empire was replaced by the Medo-Persian Empire, represented by the chest and arms of silver. The belly and thighs of bronze represented the Greco-Macedonian Empire of Alexander the Great, and the two legs of Iron represent the Roman Empire from 31bc to 476ad. Finally, the ten toes on two feet of iron mixed with ceramic clay represent a future revival of the Roman Empire.

Why The International Rule Of None Must Be Replaced By The Rule Of One

United Nations Promoting a One World Government ...

My headline should be enough to give away the game. I am conscious of the fact that in arguing for one-world government in the face of a global health crisis I am going to be accused of two things. The first will be that I am cheapening the suffering of those affected by what the Chinese first called “Wuhan pneumonia” . The second will be that I am carrying water for Mssrs. Bezos, Gates, Brin, and Buffet, for the UN and the IMF and the WHO and all the other dreaded acronyms. To the first I respond guilty as charged, at least if one assumes that at present engaging in any activity save for prayer or relief efforts is inherently cheapening. It is the second objection to my thesis that I think should be met head on.

Who flourishes under this Rule? A short answer would be no one. But this is not entirely true. The wealthy become wealthier, as a matter of course, in every country, while the middle class and the poor become immiserated in ways both expected and unexpected. This does not exhaust the list of asymmetries that result from it. In practice countries that profess allegiance to the Rule of None but refuse to abide by it mouthing along with free trade and economic decentralization as slogans while relentlessly working to enrich their own citizens enjoy an advantage over those who remain faithful both in word and deed. This is, simply put, the economic history of the United States and, to a lesser extent, Western Europe since the end of the Cold War.

Developments Towards A One World Government

Similar to how the vast majority of people opposed homosexuality and its legalization 50 years prior to its actual legalization, acceptance, and encouragement by society many people do not believe a one-world government is a realistic or serious idea that could happen in the coming centuries. However, compared to the international situation in the past, such as 1300, 1700, or even 1900 AD, the world in the early 21st century is significantly more culturally, economically, and politically unified than ever, and becoming increasingly so. The vast majority of the world’s nations belong to the United Nations , the Paris climate agreement, and the World Trade Organization, among other organizations. Leaving these organizations is considered taboo.

Additionally, cultural and economic unification is key to establishing a political one-world government, as can be illustrated in the case of the European Union, which established economic unity prior to political unity . Common weights and measures, such as the Metric System, and other forms of economic unification, such as time zones and free trade agreements, are used worldwide, and leaving any of these is considered taboo, detrimental, or even practically unheard of.

Clean Water And Sanitation

Water scarcity affects more than 40 percent of people, an alarming figure that is projected to rise as temperatures do. Although 2.1 billion people have improved water sanitation since 1990, dwindling drinking water supplies are affecting every continent.

More and more countries are experiencing water stress, and increasing drought and desertification is already worsening these trends. By 2050, it is projected that at least one in four people will suffer recurring water shortages.

Safe and affordable drinking water for all by 2030 requires we invest in adequate infrastructure, provide sanitation facilities, and encourage hygiene. Protecting and restoring water-related ecosystems is essential.

Ensuring universal safe and affordable drinking water involves reaching over 800 million people who lack basic services and improving accessibility and safety of services for over two billion.

In 2015, 4.5 billion people lacked safely managed sanitation services and 2.3 billion lacked even basic sanitation.

  • 5.2billion71 percent of the global population, 5.2 billion people, had safely-managed drinking water in 2015, but 844 million people still lacked even basic drinking water.
  • 2.9billion39 percent of the global population, 2.9 billion people, had safe sanitation in 2015, but 2.3 billion people still lacked basic sanitation. 892 million people practiced open defecation.
