International Education Scholarships & Awards
Opportunities are available for partial funding for B.C. student groups or teachers who are going abroad on short-term exchange , or for B.C. students studying Chinese language and culture in Grade 12.
Opportunities are also available for international students who are entering Grades 9, 10 or 11 at a B.C. school district or independent school, or graduating from Grade 12 at a B.C. school and going to a B.C. post-secondary institution.
Education Grants For Minorities
A minority education grant is awarded to a minority student for higher education expenses. Many people have the mistaken idea that minority education grants are only for Hispanics and African-Americans. Minorities include ethnic groups and people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and women.
Federal, state and local government education grants for minorities require recipients to maintain a minimum academic standard to be eligible. However, financial need is the main requirement for a minority to receive a back to school grant. If a minority has sufficient funds for college according to FAFSA s/he is not eligible for grants.

Women Infants And Children Program #
WIC is a federal-funded nutrition program that provides free healthy foods to pregnant women, new mothers and children under 5 years of age who are considered to be at nutritional risk.
It is designed as a short-term program, with eligible recipients usually receiving benefits for six months to a year, at which time they must reapply.
In a typical month, women in the program receive $11 per month for fresh fruit and vegetables, while children receive $9 per month.
All women and children 14 years old enrolled in the WIC Program will receive a temporary increase in the amount of benefits to buy fruits and vegetables to $35 per participant per month, from June to September 2021.
That’s an extra $105 per month for a single mother of two.
Eligibility is determined by nutritional risk and incomes that fall below 185% of the poverty level but in most states, priority will be given to TANF recipients.
Saskatchewan Student Grant For Full
The grant amount is determined according to a single progressive threshold. The size of the grant gradually decreases as income increases and the rate of reduction also varies by family size. Eligible students enrolled in a program of any duration may receive up to a maximum of $125 per month or $30 per week based on their income and family size.
